President Bush:
"Good evening. Today our fellow citizens, our way of life,
our very freedom came under attack
in a serious of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts.
The victims were in airplanes, or in their offices.
Secretaries, business men and women,
military are federal workers, moms and dads...friends and neighbors.
Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil,
despicable acts of terror.
The picture of airplanes flying into buildings,
fires burning, and roof structures collapsing,
has filled us with disbelief and terrible sadness
and a quiet unyielding anger."
This song is dedicated to all the innocent lives
that were taken prematurely on September 11th.
You are gone, but you are not forgotten.. Rest In Peace
Take my hand, I'll lead you to the promised land
A tale we've heard so many times before
you pray for pain, my design is not built that way
Follow the leader, see what you get
so free… its secondary
Sworn, Sworn Enemy
Of the human race
Come save me
from this wretched place
my last breath I would give for you
just to assure that I'd see your face
and in the end my memories
would be the thought of a better day
Time is pain, what your getting when nothings left
a little something more than nothing in my eyes
give me a glimmer of hope
and I'll show you what it's worth
can you see the light that's at the end of the tunnel?
Sworn, Sworn Enemy
Of the human race
Come save me
from this wretched place
my last breath I would give for you
just to assure that I'd see your face
and in the end my memories
would be the thought of a better day
The screams...the horror...the tragedy...9/11
saving...helping
The sight of you I despise
I'll help you meet your maker
and I won't think twice
