Standard tuning
Comments: Quite a simple line this but it anchors the chords well and supply
much of the tension (and subsequent release) during the verse. Dig the change
in notes between the two choruses. Makes all the difference in the world.

A WORLD WITHOUT HEROES
Paul Stanley, Bob Ezrin, Lou Reed, Gene Simmons
[Rhy. Fig 1] (8x)
[Rhy. Fig 1] (4x)
A world without heroes
Is like a world without sun
[Rhy. Fig 2]
You can't look up to anyone
Without heroes
[Rhy. Fig 1] (4x)
And a world without heroes
Is like a never ending race
[Rhy. Fig 4]
Is like a time without a place
A pointless thing devoid of grace
[Rhy. Fig 5 w/ End 1]
Where you don't know what you're after
Or if something's after you
And you don't know why you don't know
[Rhy. Fig 1] (4x)
In a world without heroes
In a world without dreams
[Rhy. Fig 2]
Things are no more than they seem
[Rhy. Fig 1] (4x)
And a world without heroes
Is like a bird without wings
[Rhy. Fig 4]
Or a bell that never rings
Just a sad and useless thing
[Rhy. Fig 5 w/ End 2]
Where you don't know what you're after
Or if something's after you
And you don't know why you don't know
[Rhy. Fig 1] (3x)
[Rhy. Fig 3] (2x)
[Rhy. Fig 1] (4x)
[Rhy. Fig 4]
[Rhy. Fig 6]
In a world without heroes
There's nothing to be
It's no place for me
[Rhy. Fig 6]
