I can count a hundred reasons why
but ninety-nine would still be shy
of a good excuse of for why you're gone

The truth will burn you when you know you're wrong 
It's hard to face what you regret so holding on was better 
than living life and losing you
I guess a liar can't escape the truth

So why was I so surprised that
